The Moat, Donaghadee is a conspicuous landmark in the seaside town that stands on top of an ancient motte, affording spectacular views of the town and harbour. It was originally constructed by the Anglo-Normans in the late 12th Century and the castle was built on top of the Motte around 1821. It has recently been refurbished and is open for visitors May to September.

Donaghadee Parish Church, Donaghadee is one of Donaghadee’s oldest stone buildings, from medieval times. The church has been modernised over the last few years.
